Hubby isn't good at hiding gifts

I got the first round of edits for How to Date a Werewolf. I'm excited to be working with this book again and can't wait until it's out next summer. I'm planning some fun contests for its release, of course that's still months and months away. But be on the lookout!

I'm still hoping for good news on another manuscript soon. I've got my fingers crossed. Feel free to cross your fingers for me too, and anything else you'd like to cross.

Are you ready for the holidays? I've already finished my Christmas shopping, but I don't have a lot to buy, anyway. So that makes for easy shopping. My son's almost twenty now, so he prefers cash, although I like having gifts for him to open.

As for gifts to me, I know what my husband bought me already! I have mixed feelings about this. I'd like for it to be a surprise, but...in the past he's been known to purchase presents that were not so great. I mean, it's the thought that counts, but if I can give suggestions it doesn't hurt, right? Anyway, I always end up knowing what I have way before Christmas morning. He drops hints without even knowing it. A good example: the Kindle box that's sitting downstairs waiting to be wrapped as I type this. Yeah, I wonder what he bought me? Ha-ha. Gotta love him.

So what about you? How's your shopping list look? Do you give wish lists to your significant other?
